Another Cheap Car Idea | Buy

A while back we posted a modest proposal for the US auto industry, suggesting they begin importing their cheap, efficient and fun European-market cars back into the US as a quick way to get economical vehicles to market. Well, that's a plan for the good cars. But what about the crappy cars? F**k the carrot, here's the stick: if the US auto makers won't give us what we want, let's start importing the cheap and crummy cars too. Bet the Russians would love the Volga (shown), in all its inelegant post-Communist glory, to get some US market share. Hell, maybe we can bring back the Trabant too. Take that, Chrysler.
