CB2 is coming around | Buy

We've got the new catalogue from Crate and Barrel's CB2 division here, and things are looking up. Originally focused on orange and green plastic crap for dorm rooms, the brand has moved very much towards West Elm... and thus also closer to the parent company. The colours, textures and materials are looking a whole lot better these days, but we think they need to stay cheaper than mainline C&B to make this work—offering a similar compact sofa for $799 instead of $899 isn't the kind of differentiation that will get it done. But still, it's progress, and looking good.
