Those of us who like to suit up year-round are always on the lookout for ways to deconstruct the suit + dress shirt + dress shoes paradigm. This is a sartorial minefield as you don't want to go all Miami Vice by wearing your suit with a t-shirt nor get all Details Magazine Douchebag by pulling on a pair of sneakers. A few spring/summer campaigns, shown here, have explored the alternatives with varying degrees of success. Joseph Abboud's pairing of a dove-grey suit with an ivory linen scarf looks fantastic. Prada's silk scarf with a vest would probably look really good if not for the unfortunate experiment in pattern combination. And Armani... well, we're not sure WHAT that is; it looks kind of cool if you think you could pull it off. Which we clearly couldn't. Your mileage may vary.
