Whether due to the autumnal connotations, the plush texture or some other factor, certain trouser colours seem to work best—or only work—when used in corduroy. Rich hues like olive green, golden tans, and rusty reds are more useful than may initially be apparent as all of them mix easily with the tans and browns that already populate everyone's fall wardrobe.
