Unrefinery

George Stephanopoulos is just making things worse for himself. | Fail

We're going to use this comically tiny man and his little suit to demonstrate the importance of proportion. George probably thought that these wee lapels would make the rest of him look big in comparison. Well, they might make his head look big, but the fact that the buttonhole on his lapel is nearly the width of the lapel itself provides a jarring and unfortunate frame of reference for scale. Our man could always just do without the buttonhole, but what he really should do is have wider lapels that at least overlap the breast pocket. Skinny lapels are trendy, but Tom Ford has shown that wider wings still rock.
