Green Audis Planned

Automobile Magazine reports that Audi is planning an E-series of green cars, with engine options ranging from electric to hybrid to various small, efficient diesel and petrol motors. Will we ever see any of them in North America? Probably depends on whether we've learned our lesson enough to make it worth Audi's while. Over here we have an unfortunate habit of forgetting about fuel economy every time gas drops below $2/gallon. They'll probably look all kinds of cool and European, like 4-wheel Vespas, so here's hoping.
