HP 2133 Mini-Note | Buy

There are lot of nice subcompact notebooks on the market these days, so it's almost unbelievable that one of the best comes from Hewlett-Packard, a company known primarily for its steady decline in quality over the last few years (albeit slightly improved since former CEO Carly Fiorina found some other poor losers to burden with herself). We checked out the 2.6-pound HP 2133 Mini-Note and love its bright and sharp screen, surprisingly comfortable keyboard, and subtle details like the blue LEDs and beautiful pewter finish. It's really something what $600 can get you these days.
