I Love A Governor-General In Uniform

Canadian Governor-General Michaëlle Jean turned a few heads when she appeared in military uniform for this year's Remembrance Day ceremonies in Ottawa. Although the GG is officially Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Forces, it's up to each holder of the office whether to go total military or not. Our observations on the matter are that: (a) anything with epaulets is inherently stylish, (b) the GG looked smokin' hot in that, as she usually does, and (c) this is a hell of a lot better than seeing "The Moron Terror" prancing around the deck of an aircraft carrier in a flight suit under a "Mission Accomplished" banner. Canada for the win.
