 | Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?Sandal season fast approaches, and every year a new crop of overly ornate foot-flops is pushed on us in the apparent hopes that we'll join women in seeing this as a trendy item that needs annual updating. Even the normally brilliant John Varvatos (above) has become part of the problem. Don't buy into this; a man's sandal is a basic utilitarian item with one or maybe two simple straps.
