Mailbag: Monogramming | Fail

The Kaiser asks: "Monogramming. A touch of class or something only old guys do?" Answer: After more than 31 million views, the Leeroy Jenkins video has surely been watched by just about every English-speaking Internet user. While its primary objective was clearly to make a statement on how geekiness and overplanning can wring all of the fun out of video gaming, the funniest and most memorable part of it is the idea of a guy using his own name as a battle cry. No "It's clobberin' time", no "Come get some", just a nerd yelling LEROOOOOOOOOOOY JEN-KINNNNNSSSSSS to anyone within earshot.

Wearing clothes with your own initials or name embroidered on them makes you the sartorial equivalent of Leeroy Jenkins.
