Unpainted Carbon Fibre | Fail

This stuff was enough of an eyesore when it was confined to the boy-racer wannabe circuit. But now even respectable brands like BMW and Audi are shipping unpainted carbon fibre parts as factory options. We'll single out the CF interior on the R8 (shown here) as an exceptionally tacky and eyeball-vibrating example. As the tiny weight and rigidity benefits will result in a negligible performance boost, we don't see the point of marring your car with this stuff, unless your goal is to make your $120,000 luxury coupe look like something Vin Diesel would drive in a "Fast and the Furious" movie.
