We never get tired of this sort of stuff. Through the magic of Google Books, check out the 1897 Sears Roebuck & Co. Catalogue. The men's clothing starts on page 228. Some of it will just make you smile ("Men's Fancy Bosom" shirts... heh heh heh...) but check out the calfskin gloves (69 cents per pair) and the casual sportswear—French Madras shirts, 75 cents each or three for $2.16. We'll take 200! And warning: if you love workwear materials like flannel and moleskin, have a change of shorts handy, because you might let out a little bit of pee.
