The website and peak-lapel suits of Amsterdam-based Suitsupply reveal that there are some fans of Tom Ford's clothing and ad campaigns working there, and we are totally OK with that. Suitsupply's off-the-rack suits, which mostly range in price from around $400 to $600, are famously well made compared not just to competitors in their segment but among off-the-rack suiting in general—a reputation confirmed by a surprisingly good professional analysis in The Wall Street Journal, whose style section got off to a rough start but has improved tremendously of late. Next month the company opens its first US-based store in New York, so we'll finally see in person what Europeans have been carrying on about.
