It will be hard to top Suitsupply's Fall 2013 collection but Spring/Summer 2104 takes a run at it. Strengths include a LOT of linen and linen blends from top-tier Italian mills and a continued exploration of the modern double-breasted silhouette that the brand has so adeptly developed over the last couple of years. A few highlights:

Madison Blue Check Suit [$599]. Holy crap that's awesome. Dramatic lapels and a rich plaid centered around a sort of Air Force blue, in a Lanificio Fratelli Ormezzano linen/silk blend.

Havana White Linen Blazer [$399]. Pure linen from Angelico. Casual patch pockets, natural shoulders, lined only in the shoulders and sleeves. Do you have a white linen or cotton/linen blazer for summer? It's a hugely useful piece. We'll write more on that subject if winter ever ends.

York Light Grey Linen Suit [$469]. A nicely textured summer staple, guaranteed to gloriously wrinkle, at a competitive price. Please don't wear it with a double-breasted waistcoat. Someone paid that poor man to put that on. You don't have to.

Tobacco Linen Blazer [$399]. Pure linen by Larusmiani; up close the material is revealed to be not solid but a very tight nailhead or birdseye. This is a highly wearable colour that warms up any combination of tans, whites, pale blues or other light neutrals.
