Japan's tech industry may eat our lunch, and the sheer size of China's economy may yet crush that of the western world, but it looks like we don't have to worry about Asia overtaking us in the realm of men's style anytime soon. First Scott Schuman reported on the Japanese stilted-sprezz trend of wearing a bent-up collar in Flying Nun style, and now comes word from The L.A. Times that Chinese men are carrying purses. Not "man-purses", mind you, or "European shoulder bags", but honest-to-God purses like pretty little clutches and s**t. They probably have women's underwear on, too, although we don't really want to know.
